Proposed Bylaws
Yearly the AMA Alliance reviews organizational documents and makes recommendations for Bylaws modification. These proposed amendments are presented at the Annual Meeting for membership discussion and for voting to approve or not. Inauguration of AMA President David O. Barbe, MD

Nominated Board of Directors and Councils
This year brings a new and exciting opportunity for members to help shape the leadership of the AMA Alliance. As part of the bylaws adopted in June 2016, candidates for participation on the newly formed Governance and Member Councils will be elected at the Annual Meeting. The Board Development Committee interviewed each of the candidates for the councils prior to  their meeting in March. These fantastic future leaders will be available to meet in person in Chicago before they are elected: a maximum of 5 for the Governance Council and a maximum of 8 on the Member Council.
