LEAP Awards


Initiated in 2002 the Legislative Education and Awareness Promotion (LEAP) Award recognizes excellence in the legislative education and awareness programs and projects of state, county and RP/MSS Alliances throughout the country. 

One award is given annually to one state, one county and one RP/MSS Alliance.  The awards are presented at the AMA Alliance Annual Meeting in June in Chicago.  One person from each winning state, county and RP/MSS Alliance is invited to make a short presentation and are then honored during the Prestige Awards Gala Dinner. 

2009 LEAP Awards

All entries for the 2009 LEAP Awards must be postmarked by March 31, 2009. Eligible projects must have been held between February 10, 2008 and March 15, 2009 and scheduled to be completed by April 2009.
